Compagni e Angeli

Auditorium Parco della Musica, Rome

The drawings are the sum of the ideas developed by Alfredo Pirri for two stable installations and a temporary one dedicated to Antonio Gramsci. These drawings follow each other like excerpts of a thought that acts for different solicitations. Some refer to space as an emotional carrier and bearer of light, others to the materials that make up the installations: semi-transparent and colored Plexiglas slabs that contain white feathers. The images dialogue with each other in all directions as free sheets to create associations and movements. The subjects themselves become interpreters of a multidirectional story, of an emotional state that transports us towards a project, to the limit of architecture and which will have its final epilogue in the constructive act. The three installations, from Tirana, Turi, outside the Gramsci prison and the Auditorium Parco della Musica, will closely dialogue with the architecture of the places. When everything is done, the book in progress will be completed, a writing for images consisting of the collection of drawings.
