Eduardo Secci was awarded the Herno Prize - MiArt 2021

The prize has been assigned to the booth with the best concept and design

"Titina Maselli's body of work certainly deserves to be reproposed on the international scenario, as both the selection and the sensible display by Eduardo Secci confirm. The jury  was struck by the historical significance of the artist, but also by the considerable resonance with the concerns of the emerging generations on a global level; a specific idea of technology and its natural embedding, a witnessing gaze that reminds of and trasnforms experimental cinematographic  research, and certainly not least, a practice free from canons yet still rigorous and inhabited by a profound interdisciplinary attitude."

Coinceved as a parternership between miart and Herno, for its sixth edition the prize of Euro 10.000,00 has been assigned to the booth with the best concept and design. The jury was composed by Andrea Bellini, Director of Centre d'Art Contemporain, Genève; Quinn Latimer, writer and poetess, Basel; and Andrea Lissoni, Artistic Director of Haus der Kunst, Munich.
